I brought my bearded dragon in on Wednesday and I could not be more impressed with this hospital. The ease of communication from the front desk to the Dr was seamless. His knowledge, kindness and clarity in explaining everything was impeccable. I felt like my animal mattered and my money was LOW on the totem pole! The bill was so much less than I expected. I can't recommend this hospital enough!
Dr. David Jeffrey has been treating my two birds for years and I feel so lucky to have such a great avian vet! He even did surgery on my egg-bound cockatiel and saved her life! He is knowledgeable and kind, and I cannot recommend him enough. Sometimes it is hard to find a good bird vet -- Dr. Jeffrey is A+++
I have now started to take all of my dogs and cats to this animal hospital. Dr. David Jeffrey takes the time to get to know your pet and let them know he's their friend. The compassion that he has for pets is very heartwarming.
I unexpectedly had to put my most cherished cat to sleep during my vet visit. To say I was and am devastated is an understatement. They were very compassionate and never tried to rush me. They gave me my privacy and even helped with the cost some. I saw another review that said they are overpriced but I beg to differ. They are on the low end of comparisons.
I've had two primary visits to this vet with my pet and both times the staff were very kind and very helpful and willing to explain every step of every process to us and what each vaccination that was needed is and the things that were and weren't important for the season. But I will say that they are unusually expensive. comparing them to our last vet I would say there's about a 15% jump in price. Our cat escaped the carrier on the way to our car....darted under a parked car and seemed to disappear....the entire staff took the time to come help look for him...and we found him! Their kindness, concern, and professionalism was nothing I'd ever seen. We are forever grateful, and forever clients! Thank you again El Paseo Staff, you all are amazing!
My team rescues and rehabs wild birds and El Paseo Animal Hospital always helps us with the injured. Great leadership creates teamwork with integrity. I highly recommend.
Very caring about any issues your pet has. So far so good. Cat needs tooth removal and cleaning.
First time taking our 6 y/o Goldendoodle Stanley here. We moved to the valley about a year and a half ago and have taken him to VCA Rancho Mirage once before. Nothing against them but, I'm much more comfortable with a "family" owned vet. I met Dr D Jeffrey at Costco one day and after talking with him decided to visit them with Stanley. Dr Jeffrey was awesome with Stanley, and my wife and I felt really welcomed and comfortable here. The office is very clean, inviting and the staff were friendly and helpful.
