I have been going to Scioto downs for quite some time. Usually I feel 1 out of 5 times I can walk away with more in my pocket than I started with. Since they've been building and expanding with brew brothers, the hotel , and the outde smoking patio/bar, it seems it it rare to win anything. I experieince games where one you reach the bonus spins ( which is the exciting oint of play ) the payoff is miniscule. Was at the race track last night and it was crowded. There was one live bet taker outside and everything else was automated. It was a long walk to place bets and others lack of experience with the automated machines caused to miss out on placing bets. Also because of the machines, people would go in front of others as there was no instruction. Finally no where on the website does it say that the grandstand is under construction so maybe we would have reconsidered our plans especially when we were a group of 16

We used to go 4 or 5 nights a week to play and unwind but now we maybe go once a month or two. We have heard many of the other people who were regulars say the same thing! Used to be we could spend 100$ and play for hours which is fine we don't mind losing but when you can take $400 in two hours and not give anything back it is ridiculous! What did you do to the chicken fingers at the grill? My wife and I often get them and always thought both the chicken and onion rings were outstanding. We got them last night and they were no different in taste than a Chicken McNugget. White meat pressed and glued together to make nice uniform pieces. And we got 5 onion rings all from the end of the onion. None were more than 1.5 inched across. There was a manager running around "directing" everyone causing mass chaos.
