We took the children my fiancé Nannies for to see Sing. There were no reclining seats, kiosk for tickets purchased online was out of order, the tickets are more expensive for matinee than the Emagine in Canton, we were unable to choose our seats online like we do at the Canton location, booster seats were filthy and sticky, and the lady in front of us was on her phone for most of the movie we attended. Good, not great. Emagine in Birch Run Michigan is a better movie going experience.
The service was awesome thanks to the customer friendly employees we interacted with. Compared to other Emagine theaters, an upgrade would make this location more inviting.
You would think that all theater's would be the same. I would rather go to the one in Canton much nicer seating and customer care is much more ... people friendly. You would think as big as this one is it would be more updated then one that feels and looks like it was built in the 80's
Premium seats were uncomfortable, had bars in the way of viewing the screen, and were dirty and old. They were also the furthest away from the screen. Do they call it premium because they have one dirty table between every 5 seats? At the very least, premium seats should recline not have a 3 degree rocking mechanism. Screen was adequate. The sound was probably the best part of the whole experience. Will probably look elsewhere when visiting the area again.
