He speaks with a soft gentle voice and nods along like he is listening or cares but is completely dismissive. Even lying in the aftercare report about statements I made. I will be requesting a different Dr. for follow ups because others in the office have been fantastic.
I felt like I was being rushed, gave me wrong information when my images says otherwise. Received images in September and November and was told they are none months old! He wasn’t attentive at all! Very dissatisfied
I’m trying to not get second opinion but I have to . Appointments are always rushed even when as the pay trying to explain things . He fast talk for 2-3 mins ask to look at what you’re there for then get up walked out as I was sharing my concerns . A hours 9 mins travel for a 2-3 minute visit due to doctor rushing and not listening to concern . Waste of a co pay matters well see someone else but other staff is more attentive and will answer your questions.
I had two appointments- first one lasted 3-4 minutes and the second one lasted 5 minutes. Yes, I actually used a stopwatch to document the 2nd visit. He never once looked at my ankle, checked for swelling or abnormalities, etc. After a MRI I was shown one image and told I needed surgery. He did not explain what it would entail, how long it would last, or where it would be done. He did explain recovery time but that was it. I’ve never been less impressed with a physician in my life. His rude attitude once he found out another Dr. from another group had seen me. He never went over MRI results and looked only at 2 x-rays done in his office! He was ready for me to leave, very abrupt and rude! DO NOT recommend ! I know he maybe an excellent doctor, but not for me!! Poor professional manner!!
Terrible doctor. Can to him with leg pain. He quickly told me I need three major operations. Each operation made me worse and worse. Do not use him he only wants to operate.
Dismissive
I am a 68 year old permanently disabled senior citizen; the healthcare system was well aware of my situation including meeting my service dog which accompanied me to my doctor appointments…Overall, this is my most disappointing experience with the healthcare system, from seeming inconsistent medical consultations through arriving at NC Specialty Hospital for my surgery to find the staff trying to cancel my surgery upon arrival regarding transportation arrangements approved far in advance by them, being asked to “just sign” l... read more
Went to Dr. Wilson this morning for a Cortizone shot in my hip during the procedure. He hit a nerve. I told him I was in pain and had numbness. I can’t believe they allowed me to walk out of the office in this condition. My knee was buckling and I almost fell multiple times. The doctor and staff.showed no concern. Did not explain what to expect or how long this might last I can only hope in time I will regain 100% strength from this procedure I would not recommend Dr. Wilson to anyone
