My experience with Dr. David Musante was deeply disappointing. When he entered the room, he briefly stated his name and immediately launched into a cold, curt explanation, simply saying I needed surgery. He did not review or explain the X-ray results that had just been taken, and I had to repeatedly ask for more details about the procedure, what it involved, and what the recovery process would look like. I was on time for my appointment but waited 30 minutes before being seen. I understand that appointments run over but I had an 8:15 am early appointment. Doctor rushed through his assessment and seemed irritated that I had questions. He seemed to care less about me as a potential patient and I would never let someone that insensitive cut me. I pray for him!
While the surgery went well and lasted for quite a long time, the attempts to communicate with my wife was unacceptable. Despite going to the desk repeatedly to check on progress, she did not know I was out of surgery until 2 hours after completion. All the front desk would tell her is “he’s still in surgery.” Dr. stated that he left messages, but she received none. A little more effort to communicate, even if he actually had to take the time to go to the waiting room, would have been greatly appreciated!
I felt unwelcomed, judged and more interrogated, than spoken with. Unfortunately I would not recommend.
God where do I start. First off, she was late. Which happens, but I'm assuming this made her rush my appointment. My appointment was 7 MINUTES. A $300 appointment for 7 minutes is insane. She asked minimal questions concerning why I was referred to her and then after I told her my symptoms, she was dismissive and pretty much was like 'idk it's probably just fibromyalgia, can't help you' and then was done with the call. Have been trying to get an appointment for injections since November. My insurance company has repeatedly faxed and called for clarification of dosage for injections with no response from Smith's office. I have repeatedly called only to be told my message would be sent to Smith's support staff.
Dr Burt did a decent exam of my knee and X-rays and gave me a cortisone shot. He seems knowledgeable and did an ok job but I have seen him twice and always get the feeling he can't wait to leave the room. Answers questions but kinda grudgingly. He's fine but I don't feel like he actually cares all that much.
The doctor doesn't take enough time to listen. He is very fast
I had an appointment that I waited over 43 minutes and never was told that he has behind. He didn’t take any of my frustration into consideration. Provider doesn’t care about his patients and doesn’t bother communicating. I understand providers get behind it is the way of life. But when checking in and asking if the doctors on time and the front desk says oh yes, you are next and provider has been on time all morning.
