So, I would have given Encompass Health Rehab Hospital 5 stars because they were amazing when I was there for two weeks in October. You won't find more caring doctors and nurses. Honesly. I continued with Encompass Home Health when I got home -- and til the pandemic, I was crazy about both my Physical Therapist and my Occupational Therapist, both from Encompass. I was in-patient at Healthsouth for 11 days and it was one of the most wonderful facilities/"hospitals" I've ever been in. The entire staff is fantastic. They were a life changer for me. By the time I was being discharged, I didn't want to go home! Dr. Savitz, Dr. Lee, Dr. Hakim are fantastic doctors along with any I may have forgotten! Not one bad experience. I chose Encompass from my insurance company's list for inpatient rehab primarily because of the proximity to my home for family to visit. Then saw 3 stars on the reviews and I was a little concerned. I hope my 4 stars helps their rating. I broke both legs in a skiing accident and went to Encompass rehab after surgery and being in the hospital for a week. I was a bit worried when my 96 year old father was transferred here from the hospital, but was greatly surprised and relieved to see what a great facility this has become. It is so different from when I visited. friends there several years ago. The place is spotless and most importantly, the staff is amazing. Within 24 hours I got a call from both the case manager and nurse. They asked excellent questions and made sure the meds were correct. My husband and I were very impressed with the quality of care we received from this facility. I had just had brain surgery and needed to go to rehab before going home. Ofcourse I just wanted to go home but it was mandatory to go to rehab. The nurses were so compassionate never made me feel like a burden or feel embarrassed when I needed help showering or going to the bathroom. I broke my back 22 years ago, and went here to Health South NE Rehab. I still do the exercises and have never had a problem since. When I recently injured my knee, I was so happy to see that they were still in the same place. And they still had the same Physical Therapists! There was Bob who had helped me years ago, as well as Debbie and Maureen, in addition Mina, and support staff Alissa and Mary. They have a wealth of experience and are so knowledgeable . My mother was a patient here for a few weeks in August of 2015. She has dementia and broke her ankle. The doctors here were able to adjust her medicine and she is now calm and doing so much better. No other doctors were able to do this. The nurses here are also amazing. I would return here again and again. Thanks to everyone here for the dedication to my mom

awesome team... i had a total knee replacement and I was almost able to run 4 mos after surgery. they worked me hard and they were pleasant to work with

Rate : 0 star . Absolutely disappointing experience at the Woburn facility . Inconsiderate & incompetent administrators. Impolite nursing staff. Complete lack of communication with family. Dysfunctional place. Phenomenal front desk staff. . Therapist & the RNts were exceptional. Mice infested place.
