Two weeks after my mom's stroke, I am incredibly grateful for the care, encouragement, and compassion she has received from the staff at Encompass Health Rehabilitation. This has been an overwhelming and emotional time for our family, but the kindness, patience, and dedication shown by her rehabilitation team have made such a difference. My review comes from the viewpoint as a visitor. I went to visit a friend and I came into the parking lot off of Independence, next to the Braum's parking lot. I parked and saw multiple doors and went into one. I entered via the dining room. I later realized the front entrance is a circular drive facing 15th Street. This building could definitely use more signage both outside and inside. A kind nurse on break in the dining room pointed me in the direction of the lobby. Words cannot express how amazing my team was to me the two weeks I was at the facility. The nurses and therapists were amazing. Just to name a few nurse Alex, Mia, Ashley, Franklin, and others were amazing. My therapist Logan was amazing along with Cali, Ryan, and others were 100% amazing. And I cannot leave without say thank you to the amazing doctors and case workers that assisted with my care. They all were top choice. The food at the facility was the best. They cared about everything while you were there. Thanks again

The Bad: Phone service is next to impossible to call someone in their room or the main number. Food is horrible and cold when it arrives - ask for the "alternative" menu. Constantly having you change rooms without explanation. The good: Staff gives meds on time which is great! Pharmacists are excellent and helpful. Therapists are really good.

I love the staff and the care! This is my third visit and I made sure that I was coming back to the Plano location. Therapy was especially outstanding, both OT and PT.
