Encompass rescued us from a horrible situation and took excellent care of my mother following a simple knee replacement. We had made the mistake of originally taking my mother to Powerback, formerly known as Remington in Richardson, and the inadequate care almost killed her by giving her the wrong medication. The most important thing to remember when looking at Rehab facilities is the nursing staff as rehab is only 1-2 hours out of 24/7 care. Choose wisely as my moms surgeon was not helpful.

My husband was a patient twice over a three month period. The entire staff was wonderful. Kind, patient, caring -- my husband was vastly improved following treatment there.

My Mother was a patient at HealthSouth Plano for 2 weeks. The entire staff was caring and kind. The hospital has been renovated and it is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Mother loved the food. I ate in the cafeteria several times. The food, the selection and the presentation was outstanding. If we should need rehab again, HealthSouth Plano will be our destination.

My Mother was a patient at HealthSouth Plano for 2 weeks. The entire staff was caring and kind. The hospital has been renovated and it is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Mother loved the food. I ate in the cafeteria several times. The food, the selection and the presentation was outstanding. If we should need rehab again, HealthSouth Plano will be our destination.

This is my rehab after my Stroke in May and I really wish I could get a hold of my therapy team cause I'm not getting good therapy now and I miss Margaret and metal. My walking isn't getting better. I wish I could get in contact with them. I was doing better when I was in encompass. Now I'm alone with no one to watch me walk so I don't fall bc I have cerebral palsy and stroke. I wish I had the help of my therapy team I'm doing out patient at BSW institute for rehabilitation in Plano

I have been admitted to this Encompass Plano location 3-4 times in the past and consistently received appropriate, patient-centered care. Unfortunately, my most recent stay was the opposite experience. The communication and care coordination involving social worker Anita Mupingo, her manager Ashlynn, and Patti Disotell were far below acceptable standards.
