As someone who works in the medical profession and has worked in hospitals across the valley, this is easily a 5 star review. Encompass Scottsdale Is ranked # 1 acute rehab hospital in the entire COUNTRY. We felt lucky to have my mom here after a fall and broken hip. nursing care and therapy was exceptional. Every detail was attended to, with quick response to needs with cheerful and knowledgeable physicians and nurses. The food is home cooked! Delicious, never seen a center provide home cooked food. I can't say enough good things about this facility and staff! Everyone did their best to make my sisters stay here as pleasant as possible. My sister had a stroke and I saw her make improvements no one thought possible thanks to a very professional, competent and enthusiastic team of Drs, nurses, therapists and case workers. I would wholeheartedly recommend this facility as would my sister, who was a patient here. She will definitely be back as an outpatient to continue the excellent therapy she received at Encompass.

I would give Encompass Health Scottsdale ten stars if I could. From doctors to nurses, personalized wound care, physical and occupational therapists, case manager, cafeteria staff, maintenance staff, pharmacy, home care liaison, everyone works as a team, and the biggest part of that team is the patient. Staff was awesome! They took great care of my friend while in their care. Special call out to the entire physical therapy team. They care about the patients and it shows. Nurse Sarah with the 2 dogs and 1 child, a big thank you!

No better or worse than any other facility of this nature, short-staffed, medical staff focus on symptoms not patients, definitely not the best for elderly hip fractures. The stars are solely dedicated to OT, PT and Dr. Patel.
