Melissa at reception is absolutely the rudest, worst receptionist I have ever talked to. My wife just had brain surgery and we have stellar insurance and the paperwork and I can't get past this woman. We will not be rehabbing here, even though it is in the neighborhood.

My mother (stroke) was processed on a Friday night. We just got transferred from Vandy late after noon. First impressions were OK. Clean and Bright, new facility. Initial processing went smoothly. After a few hours of being there, my mother wants to take a walk. That is when the first problem started. We just got down the hall and we run into the charge nurse for the first time. If I could, I would rate this facility with a minus 1. Every resident is not evaluated with potential for rehab but with a negative evaluation. The staff works very hard but case management does not have enough knowledge of disease process for a stroke victim. They are not qualified to pass judgement as they are not neurologists.. I think more qualified case management is definitely required. As in the case of my husband, overdosed by hospital md, entered health south anyway and physician scolded me because he was sent ... read more

No, no, no!!! If you "love" your love ones do not take them here! Over an hour wait time after assist button is pushed.....not every time but this occurred several times while my Mom was a patient. I was told and shown that response time is 2-3 minutes but witnessed first hand while visiting my Mom this is not the case. Mom's roommate experienced same wait times for assistance for restroom help ....

This rehab, skilled nursing center has problems.the food is terrible,the nursing staff is not concerned enough for their patients to give them medicine in a timely manner. You ask for pain medicine and time goes by before you get it. I left this place and went to a beautiful rehab ,great food excellent nurses beautiful facility.check this place out before coming.
