I also had a family member do post stroke rehab here. Was here visiting for three days on and off. Facility is bright and pretty clean. Nice little courtyard in back to get some fresh air. They have an hourly checkin list on the door for the nurses and aids to stop by, but I didn't see them that much. One aide was nice and helpful when we asked.

I had a family member do her post-stroke inpatient rehabilitation at HealthSouth Scottsdale Rehabilitation Hospital. She was an inpatient for 4 weeks and made amazing progress thanks to the great staff of nurses, techs, and therapists. She did about 3 hours of therapy each day (Mon. - Sat.) in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. They seem to have good PT facilities. Have we been here yet no but my father is being admitted to this facility tomorrow. And I could not have fonder words about the staff so far i write review after review for this property, after a bullshit experience with Medicare. I had just gotten my father back from a stay at encompass in Plano Texas as he was able to travel but still needed care. And was told I needed a 3 day respite stay for him so that he could be readmitted no big deal. At that point I was working with the Peoria location who called me to deny him the ... read more

Incapable of providing the needs of my 47 year old son who experienced major blood clot emergency after icu at hospital released him for pt therapy at Encompas. After 1 week at the facility, they erroneously stated to assisted living site that he was in total control of his faculties therefore state insurance refused to pay for his assisted living benefits. Atrocious and demeaning!!!!!

i just wish i had read these reveiws prior to my family members admittance. I also wish I had had information about rehab choices as we were led to beleive this facility was connected with the original hosipital and they had to go here. stupid me.
