Wish I could give negative stars. My mom came in needing help gaining strength back, she left with her angel wings. She told them to not lay her back down or she would die, they didn't listen and what happened? She also had to do dialysis every other day, even on the days she did that they still worked her harder than they should have. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!

I spent just over a week at this rehab facility. I would like to make mention and commend for members of the staff here that made my stay a pleasant one. My occupational therapist, Russel, pushed me when I need it and help me get over the hurdles of getting better. He prepared me to go home and accomplish that in less time than expected. I had two nurses, Ginter and Angie. Cancer was my nighttime nurse who took the time to look at my case in effectively manage my pain after major surgery. They will not answer the phone late at night. Impossible to check on a loved ones condition.. I so wish I had never placed mom there. She would have gotten better care at home.

My dad was recently in Encompass for 2 weeks. He had a neck/head injury and was having memory issues. I visited every day and asked several times if they had added any medications to his normal regimen as he was getting more and more confused, the answer was always no. I also repeatedly asked to speak with his Dr, but she never even attempted to contact me. When he was transferred to an Assisted Living community we discovered that he had orders for a sleeping pill that was inappropriate for someone his age and a fall r... read more

My daughter was in this facility. Physical rehab, occupational therapy and speech therapy appeared to be very good. After a week it showed not much therapy was happening. The nurses ( most not all) lack empathy & caring skills. Not all seem to read charts or personal information. Every shift has different ways to go about taking care of patients medication schedule.
