My dad had a stroke on 4th of July. After being in the hospital for three days, he was moved to this rehab hospital where he lived for two weeks. I visited him six times while he was staying here, and it seemed like a great place. All of the staff were friendly and nice, and I felt my dad was in good hands. My dad enjoyed his time there, as much as he could. He really liked everybody he worked with and he improved greatly through all of the therapy they put him through. OUTSTANDING! This facility provided excellent services for my rehab. Starting with the case manager, doctors, nurses, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and CNA's. They were all very professional, yet they added a personal touch that felt very genuine. They were really invested in their patients and went that extra mile to see that I was comfortable. My mother was a patient for several weeks. She had a terrible and painful infection in her back. They introduced us to the quirky but brilliant, Dr. Fitzgibbons, an infectious disease specialist, who literally saved her life. The staff was professional and caring. The facility was clean and comfortable. I have no complaints only gratitude for the kind and caring staff at HealthSouth in Tustin.

We chose Tustin Rehab over the other choices we were given, mainly because it is an actual hospital (not nursing home that calls itself a hospital)--with a hospital license and all the certifications of a hospital. Great nurses, not nursing assistants, who really care about the patients and know what they are doing for medical needs. Their licensed therapists motivate you to keep working toward goals and encourage you to work hard. We chose Tustin Rehab over the other choices we were given, mainly because it is an actual hospital (not nursing home that calls itself a hospital)--with a hospital license and all the certifications of a hospital. Hi, I don't normally write reviews, but I have found it very hard lately while looking for a more long term care solution for my mother, to find reviews, so the places she has been to along this journey I feel I should comment on. My mom stayed her for physical therapy after a hospital stay. She received physical therapy 3 times a day and did occupational therapy as well. She loved it. She said it was often very hard, but was a good balance of pushing her, and when she had pain they didn't tell her just to push through the... read more
