my mom was here. it wasnt so bad. i was nervous with all the reviews i saw but the doctors wanted here so i just agreed. overall- not too bad. most of the staff cared but maybe a couple didnt but thats everywhere. they got mom walking a few steps.... way better then before since she was bed-ridden in the hospital before. i would bring my mom back. the place is clean. the therapists are seem very passionate and like what they do. most of the staff seem to have a positive attitude with very motivational techniques to cheer m... read more

I must admit the two prior reviews raised concerns, so I have visited my family member every day during the week since she has been here, at different times of day. Overall, I am impressed that this is a safe, well-run facility staffed by individuals who are performing their jobs in a competent manner. Of particular note is the case manager who is a very proactive LCSW who is interested in ensuring that my family member receives treatment which will enable her to return home able to function independently. It is hard to fathom that the posts below could be about this facility. My dear friend spent the past week there. It could not have been a better experience from start to finish. I am writing this because it was so unnerving to read these reviews before she went there. I want to allay the fears of anyone facing it in the future. From the nurses to the support staff and the case managers, everyone was remarkable in their caring, compassion and care. The facility is impeccable and I could not reccomend it more.

It is hard to fathom that the posts below could be about this facility. My dear friend spent the past week there. It could not have been a better experience from start to finish. I am writing this because it was so unnerving to read these reviews before she went there. I want to allay the fears of anyone facing it in the future. From the nurses to the support staff and the case managers, everyone was remarkable in their caring, compassion and care. The facility is impeccable and I could not reccomend it more.

It's unfortunate that one's bad experience can prevent other from receiving the opportunity to rehabilitate after something as serious as a stroke. I felt compelled to write a review because I firsthand have witnessed the miracle of acute rehab following my mother's stroke. She is a a vivacious 82 year old who is full of life and then everything changed when she was stricken by stroke. My husband has opportunity to be here at HealthSouth Tustin Rehab Hospital since Oct 10, 2012. Just only 7 days past and he has getting much better. He could not move his hands because of his broken wrists. His head was in balanced. He even could not sit nor stand by himself. But now he can use his hands to eat, brushes his teeth and able to walk to bathroom by himself. He feels much better mentally and emotionally after the great care of the nursing and therapy staff.
