As an RN myself, used to be rehab nurse, I was very impressed with the care Tustin rehab provided to my father after his accident which caused fracture to his femur. The therapists are excellent, hospital is clean, staff are caring. The care was good from the moment he enterred to the hospital until the safe discharge home with detail information for family to continue helping him.

I wanted to share feedback about my experience calling your general line today at around 10:00 a.m. My partner was previously a patient at your rehabilitation center, and I called with a question regarding his care. Unfortunately, the person who answered the general line was rude and dismissive. I understand that returning after a holiday weekend can be stressful, but it's important to remember that the people calling your facility are often patients or family members who are already dealing with difficult situations. Contrary to so many of the recent reviews, we had a really disappointing experience at Encompass in Tustin. The nursing staff are spread too thin so they're slow to respond to call lights. Some nurses and aides cope with being overworked better than others, but none of them are able to provide the attention and care that my family member needed. Also, all the staff could use a reminder to clearly introduce themselves and their role when entering the room. By far the biggest issue at Encompass was the coordination of care. It... read more

I can't give a review of the service as a patient, but I can say so far as a family member of a patient, the administration has been miserable. I call and most of the time the phone just rings and rings, then hangs up after 11 rings. If I get a person, this person clearly does not want to be there and answers the phone as if it's her house line- no facility name or anything, and she sounds pretty irritated just saying, "hello?". I get transferred to the room I'd like, (maybe?) but the phone just rings until it too eventually... read more

Encompass Rehab is very good I n the rehabilitation work. However they were very poor in pain management. This failure seems to be an issue,, per prior reviews,, as well as my own experience less than 3 months ago. At no time did they utilize the prescriptions provided by my surgeon. They decided to prescribe their own inadequate ourse of pain medications . I was left in excruciating pain after 14 hour thoracic-lumbar T9 thru S2 fusion. I was even ignored by a nurse who just walked away after I begged for relief. Because of... read more
