Encompass Health should be the standard of healthcare. This was my Grandmother's second rehab facility after her stroke, and by far the best. More than once, when I walked in to visit her, there was a staff member there just talking and doing her hair for her. Every professional on her team that I met knew her name (she goes by her middle name, not her given, so they took the time to learn) and was so kind and polite. I cannot give every single staff member enough praise. During the worst time of my life unable to walk or do much of anything when I arrived except cry, the entire staff was there for me every minute of the 30 days I was there. At a time when having enough staff is almost impossible for every business, Encompass not only has a full staff they have a staff that have been with them for many years. Thank you Encompass!

I cannot give every single staff member enough praise. I don't feel that 5 stars adequately describes my experience. The nursing staff, the doctors (Kravitz and Soni), therapists and everyone else I had contact with were exceptional. Each therapist seemed to outdo the one before. We chose Health South knowing nothing about it and we will recommend it to anyone in need of rehab. Thank you for making my stay such a pleasant experience.
