This has been the most trying time of our lives. We were just released today. This facility, and all that work here, are the epitome of care and compassion. While a hospital setting, it sure didn't feel like one. I don't know all the names, but the amazing experience started the moment we arrives, through Lavonne (hope I spelled that right). This place is amazing. I want there after I had a stroke.Amie in OT was professional and help me tremendously with every day things. Sarah in PT taught me how to walk with a cane. I came a long way there.Megan and Veronica helping with speech. And they helped me every day to speak normal. The nursing staff is professional and helpful. Especially Leisa and Cindy. Everyone is so accommodating. The kitchen staff and food were great. Accommodating that I didn't like fish they got me something I liked for every meal that they ... read more

Healthsouth on 67th avenue is probably the most caring and professional Rehabilitation/Hospital facilities that i or my family have ever experienced. My father was under their care for approximately 2 weeks. Without hesitation, we would thoroughly recommend it for your consideration. Healthsouth was a true blessing. After a horrific boating accident I was brought to Healthsouth to basically get my body/life back to normal. Not able to walk, hurting all over my leg, bleeding at times, this place was here to take care of all that and much more. The staff here is without a doubt amazing. I would call out names individually but everyone and I mean everyone was so helpful, respectful, patient, and very friendly. My daughter has been here for just about a month now. She received AMAZING support and EXCELLENT care. Her physical therapist was Ashley who was super super patient with her despite my daughters anxiety and fears. Ashley really helped my daughter believe in herself. My daughter still doesn't have full feeling in her legs but she is so much more confident & stronger.
