My daughter has been here for just about a month now. She received AMAZING support and EXCELLENT care. Her physical therapist was Ashley who was super super patient with her despite my daughters anxiety and fears. Ashley really helped my daughter believe in herself. My daughter still doesn't have full feeling in her legs but she is so much more confident & stronger. This acute rehab hospital is excellent. They are certified by the Joint Commission in brain injury AND stroke rehab. My family member had a stroke and it seemed like she would not be able to do anything for herself. The hospital Case Manager wanted to send my aunt to a nursing home for rehab but when we found out she would get twice as much therapy here than in a nursing home, we demanded that she go to Healthsouth. After a 3 week stay she was able to come home with minimal assistance. The doctors, nurses and therapis... read more

We choose This facility because of its reputation. What a joke!!! The good thing was most of the nurses and CNAs. Yes she had therapy. But what good is that to leave her in bed? They never contacted us family about anything. I was there fighting for her every day. 5 day before discharge. The case worker finally reached out to me and they felt they couldn't help her. The case worker had to read the file while on the phone with me. Her and everyone else never read her case or knew why we were there. I chose this place and at ... read more
