Metal roof installed Feb 2024. City Inspector finally approved permit inspection March 2025.*********** if there are any issues, they will return and make it right. They do return to address issues. Two problems: 1) nothing was done correctly the first time; and 2) we had to find all the issues. Erie Home was rather expensive putting a new roof on my Home, but they were fast, efficient, and very professional. However, when I had a small problem afterwards, they completely ignored me and I had to hire someone else to fix the problem.
Just a roof, very expensive, $23000, had an issue, covered bathroom vent, no reply from phone calls, no resolution for just one bathroom vent that was covered on roof! Not one returned call, not one followed up, this should be senior abuse since were 72! Just want my bathroom to vent like the engineers designed!
Sales guy was incredible! This is a predatory company way over priced.
Roof looks beautiful. My back porch and flower beds were left in a mess. Several nails, sheets of tar paper and a ton of gravel from the roof were all over my back porch furniture. They took my blue tarp that I had on the back porch when they left. The satellite dish that they removed from the roof is still hanging on my privacy fence. They had six bundles of shingles left from my job that they took back with them. Did I pay for those? Do I get a credit for not using those?
My experience with Erie Home is good and bad. I was excited when this process started. I was under the impression that our gutters and roof for almost 30k was being done. This was double the quote I received from several other roofing companies. When the job was done I saw that the gutter wasnt done. So I mentioned it to the lady that came out to have me sign off. They sell a fake dream to consumers and dont honor their mistakes. I stopped them doing my roof. They removed my 150k shingles for 60k shingles and I refused to put that on my house so I stopped the job and I am searching for honest company to finish the damages.
Prefer a zero rating. Salesperson came unprepared!No business card presented. Began with asking personal questions inappropriate and unrelated to obtaining an estimate. Continued to ask questions after i explained other than homeowner of property the personal questions were irrelevant to the estimate requested. Did not have basic tools to measure and prepare a true quote. Did not follow my questions about ridge vent (no samples of vents nor tiles/materials). Guesstimated a cost of $100,000. Sleazy company!!!!!!!!!!!! Sales: When we told them we had a trip to see family member in poor health. Manager Dillan said are you going to go on vacation or get a new roof. We told him we would definitely put our precious time with family before a roof. Offered us lower down payment and include a 1000 dollar rebate upon completion and deferred payments for 90 days.
