If I could leave a 0 star I would! I made an appointment with **** concerning my roof on one of my rentals. I explained to the representative that I live 4 hours away so I needed to make sure someone shows up. He said yes! I drove all the way there the day before my appointment which was to be 4/16/25 Tuesday! They just sent a text saying they are over booked and I would have to reschedule. Liars and cheats Not a good company . They still owe me a rebate check. After opening up my roof, they all of a sudden found 6 grand of more work. Classic bait and switch.
What an absolute joke and terrible customer service! Filled out an online request and received a call within 1 minute. After the first couple "what prompted the online request" questions, she immediately went into probing questions such as what time do you and others normally come home, who all lives in the house, what are all their names? In the matter of water proofing the basement, they did a good job. My wife and I were told that our stuff in the basement would be protected by putting plastic tarps around the area it was stored by hanging the tarps from the ceiling (it was in the middle of the basement floor and we put plastic tarps over our items.) That wasnt done. The cleanup process was just removing the concrete they had to dig up for the French drain. DO NOT USE ERIE HOMES!!! NOT WORTH THE MONEY! IT A RIPOFF. They delivered the material for the roof and they damaged my driveway. I was told that I have to waste my time to get 2 estimates to have this repaired. They left garbage all over my yard. There are roofing nails all over the ground and they are coming down my downspouts. The snow melt doesnt run into the gutters and just pools on the ground. I still have raised shingles on my roof.
They did not follow through with my basement. Will not contact me to discuss options my basement is unusable almost 2 years now never would I recommend them.
I had an appointment last week for a quote on a house we own and they canceled so we moved it to today at 1pm so my wife and I took work off and drove 3 hrs because they really wanted us both to be there and then they called me at 1pm to cancel, reason was they over booked again. The issue I have is they called me the day prior to each appointment to verify we still want the quote. I called the number I had on my phone and ask the person why it was canceled and they said it was cancelled due to car trouble. Stories not linin... read more
Horrible. They scammed us out of $21,000. Or roof is leaking and can not get anyone out to fix it. Went on Reddit and found out they are a big scam! All of us who have been scammed by this company need to get a class action suit together!
The worst sales experience of my life! As soon as I clicked the submit button on my browser to request a free estimate for replacing our roof, my phone rang and it was the salesman from Erie Home. I could tell from the way he talked that this was going to be a "one of those" sales calls. I set up an appointment with him and he showed up along with an older gentleman who was very quiet through the whole process.
