Good product but bad installation and they absolutely refuse to honor the warranty. Buyer beware and be prepared to pay for revisions out of pocket. Overpriced by a large margin for this level of customer service.
On 06/11/2024, 2 reps from Erie Home came to our home. After a lengthy 4 hour presentation, we signed a contract that told us we would hear from the project manager within 5 days. That never happened. We only had 3 days to cancel and get a full refund. We paid A 10K deposit with the assurance our roof would be completed well before Aug. 21st when we were scheduled to go on vacation. We chose a roof from a photo they showed us. Erie roofing came to my home after I called for a quote. I assumed they'd measure my roof and give a quote. Instead I got a 2 hour description of shingles and how theirs are the highest quality. They also told me my roof wasn't up to code. I looked up roofing codes and couldn't find any. They also told me my roof needed immediate work. Then, for my less than 1200 square foot home with a roof that's never leaked and one car garage they came up with a quote of over ***** dollars. The work took twice as long as estimated. The roof looks good but there was several things not completed as well as neatness and cleanliness in the replacement were very POOR. The job was set up in an incorrect name due to lack on investigation and lack of asking proper questions. The big problem there is the company will not correct the owner of the home who was also the person that paid for the replacement. Salesman was pushy. They left debri on the ground when I told him about it he said he would get it he didn't. I had a direction piece made of iron they took down off the garage and didn't put it back. Only interested in getting a check.
I asked for a free quotation. The first question was whether I had storm damage and the representative refused to provide a quotation because the insurance company "might" be involved. I told him I was paying for the roof, which needed to be replaced regardless of any storm damage. He still refused to provide a quotation. I indicated for the second time I would pay for the roof and he didn't have to deal with an insurance company but he still refused to provide a quotation. I am rating the guy that came to my house for a quote. Not sure his name because he said it so fast at the beginning & never gave me card like everyone else, but I think ********& he was 10 min late supposed to be here at 1 & was not here until 110 & never said sorry or explained why. Horrible company they waterproof my basement in 2023 and its still leaking water in anytime it rains. They have been out 6 or more times and still can't get to the source of the leakage. I have called multiple times talked to multiple people and still haven't got a resolution to my problem!! I have emailed pictures of the water coming in to the regional manager *** in *******and that hasn't help any still haven't even gotten a reply back from him! But yet they want to charge ***for unfinished business.
