Presentation with the sales rep was long (3+ hours). Took over a month to schedule due to "permit issues" with the Township. However, Erie was the one to obtain the permit. I never seen the permit nor did a Township inspector show up to close out a permit. I should have flat out asked if Erie self performs or do they third party out their work. My husband and I were just starting to explore our options for replacing our roof. It was not something we had planned to do right away. I had filled something out on facebook to get information and was bombarded with phone calls to set up an appointment. I ended up answering one of the phone calls and they wouldn't take no for an answer regarding making an appointment. They insisted to do the roofing before my insurance company did the estimate so I was charged 10k more than it should have been. Crew came late and I had to supply them with lights to finish the job. They didn't reconnect the water heater vent so it was left to me for the repair.

I'm rating this company a 1 because there isn't a negative number to rate. From the original day of contact we have had nothing but lies told to us in order to sell a roof. We had damages to our property from the 6yr old metal roof being removed (which was perfectly good - no rust or oxidation as reported by their sales people - it was dirt). We signed a contract to replace the roof on September 26th and paid a $6000.00 down payment. On the 27th, after reviewing technical documentation (which was not available on the 26th) we requested to cancel the contract due to the characteristics of the materials were not to our expectations. We communicated our desire via email less than 24 hours after signing the contract. Received an email that the contract will be canceled. I asked for a free quote on their website and as soon as I gave them my contact information, immediately I was bombarded with emails and calls that wouldn't stop no matter how many times I tried to make it stop. Supposedly they had switched to a new system, but nobody was taking to anybody. It was nothing short of harassment. I gave in and they came over to do their extremely pushy sales approach where they put very high pressure in you to make a decision that day. I told them point blank that I would not do it. First. I don’t like that Erie solicits these reviews. That’s why they have so many. Second, communication is poor. Third, the job is done but I had to call to get a few things fixed. I’ve been assured that any issues will be covered under my warranty but I had to fill out my completion paperwork before the warranty would begin. So, that’s how they get you to sign off on the job. I enjoyed my experience with the sales rep from Erie but that was the highlight. I was told that the crew would show up and let me know what needed to moved. When the crew arrived no one introduced themselves and no one could speak English and I can’t speak Spanish so there was certainly a language barrier. I asked if I needed to move anything and they said just the car that was in the driveway. When they finished the job many of my flowers, ground lighting and decorations had been destroyed. Contract was signed on May, 2022 with Erie Contraction. My husband had a heart attack in June I informed Erie not to sent the workers out needed to rescheduled. The workers came anyway, and my neighbor had to come over because they were sitting down. They began speaking in spanish not knowing she understand them.
