Erie Metal Roofs came to my home to give a roofing quote. They ultimately didn't provide me a quote but walked on my roof and "inspected" everything to no end. They attempted to bully me multiple times in their anout 1 hour at my home. They insisted to enter my home multiple times. I wouldn't do business with this company.
BUYER BEWARE if you want my review contact me and I will tell you. But you won't.
Once you contact them, they will continue to call and harass you ad infinitum. I have asked over 3 times and since I asked have received 5 more calls.
I requested an on-site appointment to get an estimate of the cost to reroof my house with metal shake style shingles. Before coming out they wanted to ensure both my wife and I would be available for the consultation. I told them repeatedly that she would not be available. They finally sent a representative out to talk to me. He gave me a ballpark estimate of the cost for the new roof. Paid for job last October, did finish roof until July 4th. Second crew tore off first crews work completely and started over. Work seems fine now but they are still unresolved issues. First crew destroyed Leaf Filter system and danaged new gutters. Erie will have to pay to get it replaced. We were promised some sort of discount by first crew. We were charged full price! This company reaches out with unsolicited text messages emails and Robo calls. I have never reached out to this company for any business whatsoever and I just got woken up on a Sunday morning at 7 o’clock with a phone call that someone’s looking to sell me a metal roof. This pisses me off to no end. This company has no right to reach out to solicit business and such a way, it is illegal .
Had their salesman come out to do an assessment on my roof and see what they offered. 1 hour appointment turned into 3½ hours. We agreed on a product with detailed instructions, final price, final financing terms were discussed and agreed upon. Week goes by and the manager calls wanting to change the bid and come look at the roof himself, scheduled a time to meet a few days later. We had a roof put on in April 2022. Salesmen that came & quoted the roof was great but that is where the good ended! The roofers hit our mailbox, broke the arm on our Dish, broke the light above our garage door, broke a big wooden windmill & left a mess for us to clean up! Took them over a month to replace our mailbox & light! We finally agreed upon a refund of $250.00 that we should receive in 10-14 business days. It is now July 29th & we have yet to see a check. If I could give no starts I would. First off we paid almost 25000 for our roof and it like like garbage ...there are huge bumps that we could not get them to take care of after multiple attempts...there do not answer calls or call back I have called multiple departments I have left voice-mails and even called and texted sales and instalation and the installers boss and havent gotten any responses.
