Had a pre-salesmen come to the door, he gave us a scratch off card if we would see if we were interested in a new roof. We were, we met with another Salesman, that was very friendly, and we purchased the roof from him, gave him the scratch off card, scratched it in front of him, it was $750 gift card. However our sales person didn't know anything about this card, he sent a picture of it to his boss and the boss said they would do something about it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Erie Construction. We have had THREE roofs from them since 2018 and they are impossible to reach. They told us they would cover damages done to our home by their faulty installation and it is like pulling teeth trying to get them to follow through. It has been a hellish nightmare. I have rated this company a one star because of its customer service. The sales representative was highly trained and professional in his presentation but did not fully explain the financing and over hyped the company's products and services. Don't schedule an appointment unless you have done your research on the products available in the market. We were shown comparisons between their high end product to the bottom entry level products. No problem with the workmen ship. The crew was great and hard working. The only problems are, 1. The salesmen told us that the crew would be "ERIE EMPLOYEES" not Sub-contractors. They were all Sub-contractors. No ERIC trucks or EIRE uniforms. I got their business card for future work. 2. The leadman was the only one that could speak good English but soon left the job for the day as "His wife was having a baby back in Maryland"? He returned 5 hours later to pick up the trailer. Put the roof on very fast . I just hope that the materials were quality and thay that it was done right. Also was told that there would be no openings once done. Left small area of side undone. Leaving small opening to outside
They first say you can get a new roof for a very cheap price. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate he came out and said he would have to come back in May to be able to get a proper look at it the split level roof. Haven't heard anything since but they are still trying to get me to get an estimate with new annoying emails like I have never contacted them before. Set up an appointment with Erie Roofing for 1 today. As I was getting quotes for a new metal roof had another roofing contractor giving me a quote at 12 on the same day. The Erie contractor came a little early at 12:50 The first contractor left at 1 PM. The Erie salesman accused us of double booking contractors. I told him no we had an appointment at 12 and his appointment was at 1 Then he went on to tell us that the contractor that just left was not bbb accredited and bad mouth his company.
