Yesterday (7/12 about 12:45pm), I walk into Everbowl and saw that there was only 1 employee working with about 7 people in front of me. As people left more came in and it was non stop people in the store. I felt bad for Karel being all by herself. I was very understanding and patient. When I got to the front of the line (about 15 minutes later) I went to greet her as she should have done the same to me, but didn't. The bowls are always great, the fruit is fresh but the staff is unprofessional and ALWAYS leave the door open even past when they are closed. It's happened on multiple occasions where I'm a few minutes past the closing time without noticing the time, but I walk in thinking they are open and they come out saying "WE'RE CLOSED!" I check my time and notice I didn't make it, but WHY IS YOUR DOOR STILL OPEN AND SIGN SAYS OPEN??? PB Cacao smoothie was pretty good, if the actual açaí bowl and base tasted like icy, watered-down popsicle. The service here is mediocre as the girl who helped me and my wife wasn't very helpful. Ambience is not really anything since you have to sit outside in the plaza anyway.

I have become exceedingly disappointed in Everbowl. I understand needing to increase prices these days. Many places have increased prices and decreased portion sizes but Everbowl has essentially started robbing people blind. I just paid $12 for toppings (mostly fruit). What was once a treat I would forward to now just leaves me feeling angry and taken advantage of.

It's flavorless and overpriced :( like another reviewer said- I'd also highly recommend doing the drive to north side shack or if anything would just go to sprouts next time.

So I used to love this place until going to Northside shack. Also, some of the workers here are so rude. I asked if I could get extra of the base (acai) because they barely give you any to match the toppings. The girl responded with a rude "um. No." I also don't understand why it's so expensive when the fruit 1)isn't always fresh 2) barely any base in the bowl. Their fruit options aren't as great as northside shack either. I use to come to ever bowl back when it opened, $7 dollar bowls and all toppings included. For the same bowl it is twice the price now, $15.I understand inflation has affected everyone. However, the reason for my one star is because the quality. Before the use to make the base infront of you, add granola in the bottom but now it's pre made and you can definitely tell the difference. Purchased a large Acai bowl and was very disappointed. There was nothing wrong with the quality of the ingredients it was the quantity of the ingredients. I guess I'm spoiled, the only other place I've purchased an Acai bowl is at Northside Shack in North Park. When you get a large bowl at Northside it's nearly twice the size as Everbowls large.
