i love everbowl because of the unlimited toppings you can put in it and customize it literally however you want. i'm giving this specific location 3 stars because of the fact they rush blending it. every time i bite into the acai part there's ALWAYS chunks of ice in it and it's not only ever one piece of ice it's through out the bowl. i've been to several other locations where they blend it thoroughly and it comes out perfect. another thing is the customer service at this location is lacking. unfortunately this is the closes... read more
They blend ice in the acai which makes it a little bland. The location is good past the vons so not hard to miss. The inside is cool looking and clean. The staff is friendly and fun. They have 3 other options other than acai and the topings seem endless not bad just not my favorite, I would have to see if they can hold the ice.
I was excited for this place and had the worst service. I walk in and was greeted by someone, that was cool, but then the girl left behind the counter ended up not even acknowledging that I was waiting and totally skipped to the next person that walked in. Acai blend is very plain and bland. No taste at all. Like the menu and the multiple choices you have. Acai was not that good. Fruit on top was ok. Price was good. The other thing that caught my attention was the girl at the resister was handling bananas and putting them on top of the bowl with no gloves. I came to ever bowl today(as usual), my experience was probably the worst I've experienced in a long time. I come here very often with my teammates and I'm always looking forward to my açaí, today was different because I was treated terribly by one of your workers at the Bonita road ever bowl. POOR COSTUMER SERVICE! just visited the everbowl here on bonita rd. I really Enjoy the bowls here!! I come here pretty often and never disappointed until today. I experienced the worst costumer service. She was rude didn't say welcome, thank you or even smile at us. The açaí bowl was really good but our smoothie was bland and watered down. I went to the counter to maybe get a new smoothie or refund but the only option they gave was to add agave syrup. The excuse given was "yeah, all our smoothie's are watered down." don't come here for the smoothies. I guess I will continue going to Mango.Mango Fresh and Healthy. It's just across the street in another shopping plaza.
The only plus about this acai bowl spot is the price. $8 & you can add as much toppings as you want. But the acai itself is no where being the best. I've tried enough acai bowl spots to spot the actual difference. The acai here tasted so bland & icy, versus sweet & smooth. Definitely try other spots for acai bowls like Northside Shack, Juicewave, or Better Buzz... & you'll taste a big difference.
I'm not one to write reviews. My first one is this one actually. I've been working in the restaurant industry since I was 16 and I am a huge fan of their Chewy bowl. Great açaí honestly. But I have never encountered worst service, not only did they charge me $8 for a 16 ounce smoothie (extremely overpriced) but after asking them to add strawberries, they failed to do so.
