Nice Hotel Minutes from Downtown Checked in to pleasant staff. Although they gave accurate directions about bars and restaurants they didn't give any specifics,

On The Corner Hotel was very clean and quiet and easy to find. Close to shopping area and not too far from the school.......Room was a lot bigger than expected, fridge, and microwave!!

extended stay anchorage great location to downtown federal building and Merrill field. Easy access, like kitchen. pool was closed.

Only thing there was no coffee pot in room and tv channels made buzzing noises, in room 409

Manager Lisa was fantastic along with her other front desk staff. Karen in housekeeping was excellent, too, way above regular housekeeping standards.

For me it was a good & friendly place in Anchorage Not sure why, but the front desk upgraded me to a more expensive room on the 1st floor that was a pleasant surprise. Nice room and the wife was happy so nothing negative to say about the stay there at all.
