"You get what you pay for" After checking in to our room, we had two interruptions where maintenance man came directly into room with his own key?! He said he was asked by front desk to check to see if room was occupied, but front desk person stated that he was checking a "spot" on the floor and when we told her what he said then she said "oh no, he was redoing room keys"! Updating Needed The rooms need updating, the carpets were stained with dirt and very worn. Some new pillows that weren't flatter than pancakes, would be nice also. They could step up a notch on the cleaning too, while drying my face with a towel I found someones hair was still in the towel!!! However the hotel staff was nice and promptly gave me new towels when I called down to the desk. Just average, old and outdated. The hotel was old and very outdated. The lobby smelled like fish the first day. Location was not the best also.

A hotel way behind the times. Wifi fee? Updates are more than needed; I'm not sure what was older, the bed, the TV or the carpet. I thought a WiFi fee at a business hotel was a joke.

Wouldn't Recommend You pretty much get what you pay for. No lobby, no business center, outrageous charge for internet and a so so room. The bed was okay but the towels were old, hard and worn. The TV was the old tube variety which is surprising in today's electronic world and they didn't supply bathroom shampoo or conditioner. Then again, it was cheap so I guess I got what I paid for but I wouldn't call it money well spent for the value.

Extended Stay America- Appleton DO NOT STAY The front desk attendents were unorganized and uninformed about patrons scheduling visits through hotels.com. Fortunately, we had a room, but they were overbooked and were directing other patrons elsewhere. The room felt dirty and old. The pillows were and blankets were very thin, and there were no ammenities. The room smelled like smoke, despite us asking for a non-smoking room. Extended Stay - Appleton This hotel is close to alot of attractions and the price is very low, but there is a reason for that. It is filthy and no amenties. It advertises a kitchenette. I would not have let my food touch the dirty counter tops. It was awful. Wouldn recommend to anyone.

Will not return. I have an issue with dirty bathrooms. There was hair on the floor in the corner and next to the toilet, indicating a less than adequate job cleaning. Also, I was on the bottom floor. This is an Older motel and the sound barrier between the floors was horrible. Further there is no pool. The temperature outside was 90 degrees and quite humid.
