Thank you! The Hotel on Tunnel Road in Asheville was very accomodating, Crystal the desk operator made sure I was completely satisfied!
Missing a few amenities Was surprised that the property didn't have a hair dryer, esp since it is a long-stay property and internet is costs to use, it isn't much but with so many places offering free wifi you would think hotels would too, the hallway smelled like smoke occasionally and of whatever food guests were cooking since all rooms have a kitchenette, overall and OK but basic hotel but just for the hair dryer and free internet I would pay a little more per night
Could be better The main criticism we had of this Extended Stay was cleanliness - it wasn't dirty but it didn't come up to the standards we have experienced in other units of the same brand. The stairwells had not been swept very well and the bed had not been cleaned underneath properly. The location was good and the staff friendly and helpful.
Good value I was very happy with the quality for the price paid.
Clean and simple Asheville is tough for hotels, but I think I found my go to for future visits. In the past I've paid almost as much as my room here($100) for a dirty motel. Nothing disgusting to mention here, a little of the paint was peeling near the shower, thats about it. Seems like it was built around 2000 or so.
Decent This hotel was a comparatively inexpensive alternative to some of the pricier places downtown. We were satisfied though because it was an easy drive to all the fun stuff. The woman who checked us in couldn't have been nicer. The bathroom and linens were clean however we noticed the walls and carpets throughout were seriously in need of freshening. There were no toiletries offered but to my surprise, the windows opened so we were able to sleep with the fresh mountain air coming in! It was an ok place to crash.
The name says it all If you need a place with your own cooking facilities, this would be good. Tucked up a quiet cul-de-sac from a main highway, there is good access to anywhere in town. Good, but nothing special.
Extended Stay Hotel was decent for the amount paid. I liked having a little kitchen so we could cook our own food. Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful.
