Was greeted at my 1 AM arrival with, "Don't tell me you're here for a room," I had a confirmation number in hand, and after an ordeal to figure out which room could possibly be mine, was told to check and see if it had been cleaned (?!). Very disorganized - someone was presumably sent to the same room number as mine, so I had to settle that in the morning (after repeatedly telling my almost-roommate at 3 AM that the room was in fact taken). Hotel is dated, but was clean and staff the next day was apologetic and explained the... read more

A nice stay Great place at an inexpensive rate. A quick drive to everything we needed.

No bells, no whistles, just a good place to stay This hotel was perfect for our purpose... a place to sleep and shower. We came to Asheville with an itinerary of things to do and didn't plan on spending much time in our room. We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The lobby looked like it had recently been redone because it was bright and modern. We didn't miss the "regular hotel extras" because we only stayed one night. We will use this hotel again.

Great hotel for the price The only bad things I have to say about this is that the room smelled funny and the complimentary breakfast was "grab and go," meaning that it was granola bars and fruit. Other than that, this was a great hotel to stay at. Modern furnishings and decor, super friendly staff, comfy bed, amazing water pressure! A 5-10 minute drive to most things in Asheville.

Hardest beds ever Satisfactory overall for decent price. Overall clean, but maintenance needed. Especially in the bathroom which was not vented well and had peeling paint and a bit of mold. Worst part was the bed. Had to take extra medicine for my back because of it. The neighborhood is central which is great, but be warned that this hotel is at the top of a dead end road and the bottom is by a creek and in heavy rains it is sometimes not passable. Also, don't expect breakfast beyond coffee, a granola bar and fruit. It's cal... read more

Good value for the money. This is a "no frills" place to stay. Everything works, there is a full fridge, hotplate and microwave. No shampoo in the bathroom but the water is hot, the towels are clean and the grounds are tidy. There is no-one at the front desk after 11 PM and the breakfast has only coffee, fruit and some muffins (no juice or tea). Pets are allowed and even have the run of the foyer sometimes. No hotel computer access but there is WiFi if you bring your own. The TV works but the reception is poor (picture quali... read more

Nice hotel, clean and close to everything I enjoyed staying at the Extended Stay in Asheville and would stay there again. The room was spotlessly clean, with a kitchen that included a stove, microwave and fridge. My room was large and comfortable. Check-in was quick, the staff friendly and parking was adequate. If you aren't familiar with Asheville's street layouts, map it before you arrive to avoid confusion.
