It is hard to believe that a property so poorly maintained is being offered by Expedia. Stained, uncleaned carpet, fraying bed linen, old furniture and a decaying bathroom should not be offered at any price. Someone needs to check out this property before any other unsuspecting guest make the mistake of booking a room here. Shame on you EXPEDIA!!!

The staff was terrible the night I check in. No one was at the front desk for a while, and they were not even in uniform. I’m thinking it was the manager not sure but she had a nasty attitude when we ask for another room. She said quote “you can get refunded & go to another hotel if you want” with so much attitude. The first room she gave me, the door was broken & the the 2nd floor spelled horrible. The second room was okay, but the bathroom door wouldn’t close. We stayed in this hotel for one night after spending three nights in Folly Beach so we’d be near the airport for an early flight the following morning, it was the Absolute filthiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We walked to the Walmart close by to get our own sheets for the bed.

The cleanliness of the hotel was pretty poor, when we checked in to our first room the bed had a piece of wood just hanging from where it looked like it was broken and just hammered back with nails... didn't work. Next room was not able to be stayed in, poor communication on their end, not knowing which rooms had a huge dehumidifier in the middle of the room, staff said it wasn't communicated to them, but they were very friendly. My negative ranking is not about the property but about Expedia making bookings that cannot be satisfied, and the property not taking ownership of finding me an alternate placement. About an hour after making the reservation, I received a call from the hotel informing me that they were overbooked, and then got the phone equivalent of a shrug when I asked how they were intending to fix the problem. I ended the experience most displeased.

Terrible place to stay. Turned lights on and bugs all over the place. This place should change It’s name to Extended Roach Hotel.

Woke up to black bugs in the bathroom.The room had an awful smell the hallway smelled like pot.
