Good location, good kitchen My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights while I was attending a conference in downtown Charleston. The location was ideal -- cheaper than Charleston but just a 10-minute drive from downtown. The kitchen also made our stay much cheaper, since we were able to shop at the local grocery stores instead of eating out.

Ok for the price Room was ok, smelled funny and there was no room service, beds were old and needed updating. You can tell tbey started to try to vamp up the place but a coat of paint doesn't help a crappy worn out spring bed with pillows as thin as the walls were

Just Alright for Me, Dawg Pros: The hotel employees are great. Very friendly and accommodating. All kitchen items were delivered quickly and when we requested extra blankets / pillows, it was about a 30 second wait to get them. The location is great for longer stays. You are right across the street from a Wendy's, Harris Teeter, Starbucks, a couple BBQ joints, and a dine/drink-in movie theater. Extended Stay Mount Pleasant, SC The room was a no-frills, two double bed room with refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen counter, cabinets, and sink. Most amenities including coffee maker and cooking utensils were available from the front desk. The hotel was quiet. No maid service.

OK, not great The good: I stayed for two nights. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean! The bad: That said, one of the cabinets was missing an entire door. The morning we checked out there was Palmetto bug that walked out from under my bed. Beds are very uncomfortable, sleeping on the floor would be more comfortable.
