Decent value for Chicago The hotel itself was ok. Nothing fancy, but that was expected. I did encounter some ants in the room, but just a few. There seemed to be some locals that would hang out in the parking lot behind the building and listen to music and have a few beverages. They may have been staying at the hotel and just wanted to hang out outside. Their music was a little loud. One day when returning to the property, there were 3 police cars there. but do not know what that was about.

I’ve had much better and I’ve had much worse. I liked the location, and the staff was nice. My issues start with the smell. I was told it was a non-smoking property, yet the hallways smelled like stale smoke. And, the bed was hard as a rock. Not to mention, the bed only had three pillows, which was odd! It was a nice hotel, but it also had its flaws.
