It was okay My experience at the Extended Stay America Suites Chicago Schaumburg I90 was satisfactory, but not exceptional. The bed was uncomfortably hard, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, I felt that the environment was not conducive to a single woman staying alone. However, the highlight of my stay was the exceptional customer service provided by the front desk clerk, who was incredibly friendly and accommodating.

The room we stayed in was convenient and offered some good modern perks, but one of the outer doors nearest the parking lot locking mechanism was broken so we could not enter after leaving the building. The grounds around the property were also dirty with trash lying around and some spots inside as well in the corridors and in the elevator. The staff was not all that friendly or helpful as well.

This location of EXT Stay is much better now that they got rid of the Russian manager guy. I would stay there again if the trend continues to improve. I was treated professionally and given a clean acceptable room this time. That is not the case on the last stay at this property, when I was last there I was given a room that hade a huge hole in the fiberglass bathtub. Worn but worth it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit old and our kitchen has some wear. The counter tops were trimmed with duct tape, but the appliances worked and i was able to check out kitchen ware. That's important when traveling with kids.
