GW Was not aware that pets were allowed. I did not care for seeing people sitting at the front entrance and smoking. The continental breakfast was deceiving. I thought it would have been much better.

The staff at the front counter were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped me find my way around Covington and Cincinnati.

Convenient if you're visiting the Horseshoe Casino If you're planning on visiting the Cincinnati Horseshoe Casino, there aren't many convenient choices to choose from. There are the major hotels in downtown Cincinnati, but you either have to drive or take a shuttle to get to the casino. Generally, you have to pay a parking fee and wait for valet if you drive, and the shuttle is not that convenient - especially if you keep late hours. It would have been nice to have a smoking room. I'm not sure if it was a smoke free hotel but no smoking rooms were offered. All in all the room was very clean!

Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was recently remodeled so everything was fresh. Even though this hotel is right next to the highway and our room faced it, it was not an issue. The windows are two physical windows layered and do an excellent job at keeping out any noise. Standard hotel cable TV . Two things I did not like. Number one is people were letting their doors close very heavy early in the morning (5am) and the sound goes right in the room. A weekend of wonderful memories. we planned this trip to be married in Covington and see the sites and old history. We brought the best man and matron of honor. We had a grand time. The only misconception was how the hotel was furnished with amenities. No ice machines, or a bathroom on the first floor. We loved that you could open the windows and have a fresh breeze since we are from the country and rarely use AC.
