Great Experience in Corpus christi Hotel was in a good part of town close to strip malls and not too far from South Padre Island Drive and the beach. Front desk staff was very helpful in getting us directions and assisting in the navigation of the area, even suggesting restaurants. Hotel guests above us were loud through first night but after we called the front desk to bring it to their attention and their subsequent curtesy call to our neighbors, they stopped. Quick get-a-way We needed a quick get-a-way for our sanity and so glad we found Extended Stay Deluxe Corpus Christi - Staples which we didn't know existed and was very satisfied and happy we chose to stay there. The gentleman at check in and check out was very friendly and a very good sense of humor was our first notification that this is the place to stay and the rooms are very clean and comfortable and close to anywhere you want to go. We will be back!
Good value for location. Hotel was what we expected. Bare minimum kitchen utensils. Had to request a skillet from desk. We had a comfortable enough stay, but poor kitchen ventilation prevented any real cooking in the small apartment. For the money we would stay again.
Nice room for the money. I like the one free night with the purchase of three nights. Customers should remember that there is no daily house keeping, but the front desk will exchange towels and linen if needed. Front desk was polite, nice, and helpful. No tv remote control, but front desk replaced with another, but had a little difficultly changing channels. I liked the fact that it had a full kitchen. Overall nice visit. I would use hotel again.
No breakfast. Carpet in rooms very dirty, old towels that looked like they were dirty, toilet had to flush ar least 3 times. No ice machine, no TV service was down. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Check in and staff were fine and friendly. No issues. The low score comes from the property appearance and the condition of the room. I do not blame staff. These are long-term issues that could only come from poor management and a lack of investment in the property from corporate leadership. The entire property is in need of major refurbishment. My room had a severe german roach infestation in the bathroom and large cracks they would come in and out of when the lights were on or off. Stains on all fabric in sight, room smell... read more

The room smelled so bad and the a/c wasn't working and the room was dirty and we got no sleep because the beds were terrible. The doors on the kitchen cabinets were falling off.
