Housekeeping was a bunch of kids (high schoolers) who I’d never trust around my stuff. They were screaming about how they found maggots in a trash can and how one of them hated their job. One was in a bra. Not quite professional. I did feel safe and clean for the most part. I’d never go back.

This motel is basically an extended stay. We arrived at 5:30 PM and did not have a room as they had not all been cleaned. We waited for the room to become available.

Not the best The neighborhood was run down. Even though the hotel was designated nonsmoking it smelled of marijuana.

Everything was clean, but I wouldn’t suggest checking in after hours. I showed up at 10pm and we called the on-call person. She said it would be a few minutes. 20 minutes later I had to call back which I had to talk to someone outside of the hotel as she didn’t pick up. 5 minutes later she came out and said they had been overbooked and they were finding rooms, it would be a little bit longer. 15 minutes later another employee comes and checks us in. OK place with management worries Woodspring Suites is really geared toward long-term stay, offering things like a cooktop and large fridge that would be great for those needing a place to hunker down for a week or more. It is also pet-friendly, which can be hard to find. The facilities overall were basic and clean, but it is clear the staff is overworked. To check in it took us 30-40 min . My room was given to someone else . Front desk lady had to call someone else to figure out what to do . It was kinda unprofessional experience! This location doesn’t have front desk person after 8pm ( lots of people were waiting to check in ) . Lobby was crowded , people walking and drinking alcohol ( it was kind unpleasant scene ) .
