Good value This is a clean motel in a nice neighborhood and is convenient to the interstate. I only stayed one night as I was passing through but it has a kitchen that would be nice if you were staying several days.

Good spot to stop The hotel was decent, staff were very friendly. The kitchen has all the items you need to eat in if you would want to. Full fridge, stove, microwave, some cookware and dishes. Queen bed was comfy but pillows were thin so ask for a couple extra ones. One thing I didn't care for was that the carpets had stains in them from previous guests, the room could use some updating. Over all though it was a good value for the money.

great for longer stays wanted to try an extended stay motel, we only stayed overnight, it was a good test stay. we will look for similar motels for future stays of three or more days, the full kitchen would be handy for light lunches, snacks, and cold drinks.

Des Moines Studio Plus--big rooms! We stayed here while in town for a Muay Thai tournament. The double rooms were spacious with two beds, a pull out coach, a dining room table and chairs and a kitchen with a bar and stools. The location was not ideal, but the extra drive was worth it since we could cook instead of having to rely on eating out. Not what I expected. This was a cheap room and I guess you get what you pay for. The "Exercise Room" was hot, no towels or water, with broken equipment. The rooms DEFINITELY needed to be updated and was surprised to see no hair dryer as is common in most other hotels. The staff was pleasant and helpful though which helped.

Very pleased with our stay This was our second stay at this hotel, the first being one year ago. In comparison, this was a nicer stay. The hotel was clean and our room smelled freshly cleaned. The staff, as last time, was very friendly and remembered us from a year ago when we stayed. Even the same staff person checked us in and out. The room was quiet - could not hear anyone else in the hotel. This is a real nice hotel for someone on a budget. The price worked out very well for us.

It worked for us! Other than our door falling off the hinges when we arrived at our room, the hotel staff was quick to accommodate to another room in which the door did stay on the hinges the entire time and the dead bolt did work. The price of the room, yes I would recommend this hotel!!

Can't beat the price Walls are paper thin, can hear every word of people next door and in the hallways -- people speaking in normal conversational tones. Cheap original construction is the cause of the neighbor noise, and that's not an easy fix. But fixing the mattress is an easy fix. This was the worst mattress I've slept on since I got out of the Army 40 years ago; it sagged in the middle, not just a little but Big Time. It was pathetic.
