worked for me The hotel for the money was excellent. I went there to stay while my company was completing a project in town for 5 days and it had everything i needed. bed, kitchen, shower. No bugs.The staff was excellent and friendly. Would I take my family vacation at this site, no I would not but to be fare here my family and I stay at either resorts or vrbo homes. So if your a contractor in need of a long term stay with good value then by all means stay here.

Staff Excellent, Facility Acceptable This hotel is my first experience with an extended-stay type facility. While I would stay here again, probably, it would not be first or even second on my list in the Des Moines area. Here is what forms that opinion: Pros: The staff was excellent. Homey i was there for my bachlorette party. we went to the iowa state fair for the first time then out to the bars downtown. i enjoyed the kitchen because we were able to make mac and cheese in the middle of the night. they even have a dishwasher and i dont even have one!!! impressed with the whole stay! staff was wonderful to us.

Decent for the price I booked my room through a 3rd party site for a 1-night stay. It's OK for the price. The room was rather depressing because the furnishings and decor were very dated and showing some wear; I was definitely reminded that I was traveling on a budget. I can't really address the noise level, because whenever I stay in a hotel I always run the fan in the heat/AC unit nonstop to drown out any possible noise. Amazing clerk We arrived in Des Moines & was greeted by an amazing clerk, [...]. We had questions on where to local An Eagles club and she helped by calling someone she knew personally. Every time we spoke with her she was very friendly.

Great Location- disappointing pool We loved the location (walked to restaurants & stores), appreciated the refrigerator, stove, microwave & useful utensils. However, we always book a hotel with a pool. Upon check-in we were told the pool was not open & probably would not be all week-end. The pool was small but looked sparkling clean and clear. We were told the chemicals weren't adjusted properly. We asked about reciprocal agreements with other hotels and were told they did not have any. We paid for admission to the city pool... read more
