This was a so so experience The staff was friendly but the place needs a deep cleaning. The carpets were stained and wouldn't dare put my bare feet down on them. If the carpets are stained, clean them for heaven's sake... This and unclean bedspreads/linens are a total turn off to me and probably most other travelers.

They could not care less. This is in Fairbanks, Alaska. We chose this hotel for one reason and one reason only; because it had a pool. But the pool was "out of service" pretty much the entire time. I and several other families were left with crying children who came down from their hotel rooms in their swimsuits all excited only to find a sign on the door of the pool area stating that it was "out of service". This Hotel is on the Bottom End of the Scale Exterior access to the room. I found crushed beer cans outside of my door in the morning.Old mattress and small noisy room. Inconvenient parking, no breakfast, in-room internet signal too weak to be functional. Please try the Quality Inn which is one block from this hotel. For a few dollars more it is a CASTLE!

Extended Stay Fairbanks Hotel double charged me which I questioned at the time. Got a refund the next week after I complained. No pot in coffee maker and left over grounds in the machine. My concerns seemed like an incoveince to the staff. Clerk at check-in was not trained properly and seemed real confused.

Do you want me to begin with the Stip Club? Yes, right across the street :-) But behind the hotel is the Bowl Factory and in Front of the hotel is Fred Myers. . . Check in was a mess, satalite tv was out, yet we were not told until the next day when we asked for someone to check the television. We thought the stove didn't work, but was told , did you turn the button on the wall first? I said no, which button, the girl said the one on the wall, it is quite obvious. . . eh, no it wasn't, it looked like a fan timer, not an oven... read more

Extended Stay Fairbanks - long in the tooth Although the rooms were neat and well kept, their age showed. The common areas were not well maintained and dirty. The free airport shuttle service had no available driver, although they did pay for a taxi to the airport. This hotel is mostly appropriate for workers on long-term contracts rather than casual guests.

DON'T STAY HERE HOTEL IS LOCATED RIGHT NEXT TO A GIRLY BAR, VERY NOISY, OUR TV IN OUR ROOM NEVER DID WORK, WE COMPLAIN NO ONE CAME TO FIX IT. OUR ROOM WAS NEXT TO A TRASH RECYLE BIN, AND IT SMELLED REALLY BAD, YOU COULD SMELL THE ORDER IN OUR ROOM. FRONT DESK WOMEN WAS VERY RUDE

Extended Stay Not-So-Deluxe If you like hearing doors slamming all night, loud conversations in several nearby rooms, adults talking loudly in the hall and and babies crying until 3 am, this is your hotel. Oh, and if "breakfast" is a plain bagel and a cup of coffee, it's all yours. Staff never asked about my experience so I thought I'd post it here hoping others will read and choose to stay elsewhere - if they care about getting rest.

Not impressed Did not realize that there wasn't daily room clean-up service, only every seven days if you stayed that long. And, the mattress and bed was not comfortable. Internet service was an extra charge as well. Spa was not working the first two - three days. Didn't enjoy the hotel.
