Intended Stay at Extended Stay - cut short This was the third Extended Stay Hotel I have stayed at, and the quality of the three were quite different. This one was in the middle of the other two. I chose Extended Stay again because of the kitchen facilities and the length my intended stay. Good enough Stayed here while working in the area. Surely fine for a few nights. Did have a bit of difficulty checking in late at night, front desk had trouble finding my reservation more than once.

Gross! I don't know which was the worst part, the bathroom door that looked like someone had taken a hammer to, the exposed wires on the hair dryer, the dried red on the inside of the shower curtain, (blood? pasta sauce?) or the overall smell of cigarette smoke. And not just, ew someone is smoking down the hall but, your old Aunt Edith who chain-smokes two packs a day, and the smell permeates the entire being of her house. Hallway. Room. Sheets. Pillows. All smelled of stale smoke. This place is off our list!

OK for the price The hotel room was clean and a good size. But there are no amenities beside a few bars of soap and one small tube of shampoo; not even a spare roll of toilet paper. There is no room maintenance unless you order and pay for it - bed was not made up, bathroom not cleaned, etc. When we checked in and each time we went past the front desk, no one was there. A "I'll be back in a moment" sign was on the desk, and we had to use the house phone to find someone. For the low rate of the room, the size was fine.

Nice hotel and close to everything. I was only there for one night. The room was fantastic and everything was clean. I wouldn't recommend using the pots and pans cuz out food got stuck to it. Other than that I liked it.

Extended Stay in Fishkill - Route 9 When we arrived, the receptionist did not have a record of our reservation. She was very nice about it, but we'd booked through Expedia and there was no record of it. Then we were given a room, which wasn't the room that we'd booked. So trip two to the desk was to get the room type we'd reserved, which had a sofa bed. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. It would have been nice if they had some recycling.

Don't stay here! Hotel knew that we were not booking for an extended stay and I would have thought they would have told us not to expect daily room maintenance. I had to ask for extra towels because they only supplied enough for one night. There was no housekeeping whatsoever. There were no pots and pans or utensils in our room and we were told we'd have to pay extra. The cost was over $100 dollars a night with no service at all.
