Check-in was VERY slow, but the staff is great. This place isn't fancy--the front hall smells like dogs--but there were four things I really liked that are super-important to me: 1. The room was really clean. 2. The hotel itself is very quiet--more so than more upscale places I've stayed. I'm guessing that's because this is an extended stay place, so residents are more careful about being obnoxious because they're not checking out the next day. 3. Basic Stay Hotel needs to be updated and it smells overall if you need a place to sleep for a night it’s ok

When I checked in I was sent to a room that already had someone staying in it. I proceeded back to the front desk and then was given the correct room that was ready for me.
