Extremely Satisfied Above and beyond the call of duty, when severe thunderstorms delayed our arrival, one Candlewood Suites employee helped restore our confidence in good service. This combined with an absolutely spotless room and comfortable appointments will keep us returning to this hotel.
Spacious True Suite Room, No Meals Incl. We needed a hotel close to IAH with true suite style rooms so that our toddler could go to bed before we had to. This hotel fit the bill nicely. The hotel is still quite new and clean. I did make the mistake in confusing it will Staybridge, which offers breakfast and dinner included. Most of the other true suite hotels (Embassy, Staybridge, Homewood) offer breakfast, but not this one. Lovely NEW hotel!! This hotel just opened in May 2009. It has easy access to Beltway 8 (Sam Houston Tollway), 59, and 45. I am originally from Houston so this is wonderful if you have friends and family scattered throughout surrounding areas. The room was VERY comfortable and I loved the kitchenette feature with dishes supplied. I also like the fact that there is not a cleaning service but once a week to clean your room. Great Overnight Stay We checked in to this hotel for one night to be close to the airport. The hotel's furnishings we clean, nice, and our room was very comfortable. The hardwood floors in the kitchen are a nice touch. The "cupboard" was convenient for snacks, but there isn't much nearby for dining. The manager was extremely accommodating and personable, and their shuttle service is excellent. I would highly recommend staying here!!
10-19-2009 Stay at Candlewood Houston We had very nice experience here. The hotel was very inexpensive and at a great location for our shopping needs. It was great to have a kitchen in our room to be able to have our meals there.
Okay Rooms were very clean and if was designed very well. Pool was good, fitness center was good. Internet was not working correctly and our room ran out of hot water the 2nd day that we arrived. The desk told us to run the water for 15 or so minutes before using but that never worked.

Noisy guest, there was a huge fight at 4 o’clock in the morning with yelling door, slamming and beating on walls. I called the front desk and no one came to see about it. No police, nothing. The manager is rude and less than helpful! The elevators went out… both of them, and they were still sketchy afterwards. Skip this place!

The bathroom was not clean, the bathtub had grime at the front of tub near drain and toilet had mold under the rim so bad you can see it as you walked past the door. We requested the for a maid to come to room to clean. The front desk clerk said she would send them but they never showed up. And I was told that once you pay for the room it was final. They advertised in room kitchen supplies available upon request. When requested the clerk said they did not have pots, pans, or paper plates. The service and customer service was... read more
