Ok but won't stay again. Location was great. About 5 mins from oak park mall. Right near highway to access legends and other sights. Room was basic. Kitchen had no utensils or pots or pans. The cabinets were empty. The overlay on the bed had a bad body odor smell. The smell was not good around us in the hallways as well. The staff was Nice but did not have any information to offer about local sites and taste nearby. Each time asking them a question, they were sitting to the side of front desk on the cell phones. You get what you pay for. Very slow young girl trying to check in 6 people alone. Another girl behind the frint counter in the corner giggling with front desk girl. In our room, the toilet was running. Used and not flushed. Wouldn't flush. Called the front counter, young girl said she would have the manager come up. Thirty minutes later, called again. She giggled, she had forgotten. Manager came up and fixed it. Room had a small kitchen sink that was dirty.
Ok except no shower curtain... I had read in previous reviews that there was an issue with smell, so I was not surprised by that. I was shocked when I went to get into the shower that someone had taken down the shower curtain and not replaced it... A bit of an awkward moment... Otherwise, the hotel was what I expected for the price I paid.
overall just fine. front desk staff always Pleasant. only issue was a funny smell upon entry to room.
You gotta visit KC -- at least once. Quick visit to sample history, shopping, eating, etc.

No Problem With This Night's Sleep The first room was not ready for occupancy - they hadn't finished cleaning it. When I return to the front desk - she apologized and gave me another room. It was fine. I slept well.
