Avoid the hotels in this area of Lexington. The hotel had a bad smell like it had just been sprayed bugs and our bed was horrible. We had stayed at the Red Roof Inn across the road from this hotel before and the bed was like a rock there too. Put another 20 bucks in on another place to stay and your back will thank you in the morning. Both my wife and I woke up every hour from the lack of comfort with the bed. There were also kids running around all night long outside of room. All in all it was a room, but that's about all I... read more

Bare Bones We ended up here a trip to Lexington for a football game. The price was right and the location was relatively convenient to the stadium. For "Extended Stay," I wouldn't have wanted to be here more than a night. The room was about as basic as you'll ever find. Two pillows on a more or less clean queen bed. A shower that works. A kitchette that looked somewhat clean. No hair dryer for my wife, although one was available for the asking at the front desk. TV that worked, although it didn't seem to get the local channe... read more

ESA Hotel-[...] Given wrong room, paid for upgraded room, was given lowest level, old decor, unclean. Called front desk and was told [...] that I would have to wait until the only upgraded room was available. Manager called a while later and we had to move out of the room we were in and in to the one we actually paid for. Very load generator outside of the room. Air would only stay on for about 1 minute before shutting off. Also, when we checked out, the attendant was not at desk. It took 10 minutes for her to appear, and ev... read more

Bad choice. The bathroom floor in both rooms I booked was dirty, everything else was very "tired". It was a seedy motel and way overpriced for the quality even though it was during the World Equestrian Games. Had hotel rooms been more readily available, we would not have stayed after arriving. We were given a room across from the elevator which meant the window looked at the elevator door and dirty corridor and our friends had the end room which was next to the highway. The Extended Stay we used in Arizona was a much nicer f... read more

Never Again We visited our daughter at UK and also went to the World Equestrian Games; all the other hotels were booked for 50 miles so we ended up with roaches in the bath, cobwebs everywhere (no telling where the spiders were hiding) a bed wedged so tightly against the wall, crawling in or out was a major effort and don't get me started on the linens. We quickly went to Target and bought new pillows and borowed blankets. Previously, we had stayed at several other hotels in the area, all very good, still the staff was helpfu... read more

Rude Staff! Disappointing service. Two separate employees were very rude in person and on the phone. They were extremely unhelpful about internet service and check in time; it was as if they couldn't be bothered to help you! The room was very old and there was a spider in the bathroom chilling on his giant web. Very thin sheets and old furniture in the room.

This is a dump [...]We changed rooms because the first room smelled so bad and still had to buy a can of room spray for the second room. When I was leaving, another guest was complaining about her filthy room. I don't know how this place stays in business.

Poor Front Desk Service Check in went smoothly, when I discovered the TV in the room did not work, I called the front desk and they put it on the maintenance list. After an hour and no response (football game was almost on) I went to the front desk and asked if the TV was going to be fixed tonight. The response was "I'm the only one here and I'm not maintenance". I ask to speak to a manager and was shown their business cards which did not have a cell phone number. I asked the front desk clerk what he did if there was an emer... read more
