Stay for The Belmont Stakes The facility was as advertised. We would stay at this hotel again. The rates were moderate.

Economical Clean and Convienient I have stayed here before and I think that the place is a good value. There are a lot of out of towners staying here while doing work in the area. It is not a family place because they do not have a pool or spa. It is a good room to spend time in overnight without a lot of vacation like amenities. It has a small kitchen with an apt sized refrigerator. So you can do some lite cooking and keep food. I had a non-smoking room but there are areas of the hotel that smell of smoke. Basic but Quiet What you get is pretty basic for the price but the lack of frills may be what help make the hotel so quiet. People aren't here to vacation in particular. We didn't hear other guests and could actually get some sleep.

price-comfort relation OK overall OK, but no shampoo, good sushi restaurant in walking distance

The room decor was dated. Some items were in need of replacement. The bathroom needed a thorough cleaning before we could utilize it. The cable choices were very limited. All in all I would choose another hotel when in this area again.

Ok I understand that we were on a smoking floor, but air it out once in a while!!! The front desk attendant could have smiled/greeted/welcomed us.
