No Frills, but Just Fine Clean, spacious,comfortable room. No fancy anything, but I wasn't paying for fancy. The dogs next door barked for a few minutes when I dropped the toilet seat in the middle of the night :) its nice to know we have protection!
Good hotel at reasonable price Enjoyed stay, close to everything, basic clean room.
I think the dog in the room right next to mine was very annoying. Barking until 11 pm each night....unacceptable. How is anyone supposed to get a good nights sleep? Very disappointing! Also, the room did not have a pen or any small pad of paper, so when I attempted to jot something down, I couldn't. Come on.......pen and paper? That is a no brainer. All of your guests are not on an "extended stay" and need a few of the regular hotel amenities.
convenient to LIRR station Having to pay extra to have room cleaned and fresh towels, etc. was kind of ridiculous. Always thought those services were what make a hotel a hotel.
Accepts pets It was a nice night off the road! The cats enjoyed getting out of their carriers and wondering around.
Will stay here again! Very quiet area for our stay. Staff was pleasant. We got into town very early and they got us in to our room right away - no waiting.
