The bed was uncomfortable and the walls were thin so I did not sleep well. The bathtub had dust in it so it seems it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. I had trouble getting in and out of the hotel in the morning to take my dog out and instead of someone providing assistance the door, the receptionist did nothing while the guest at the counter spoke loudly about me like I wasn’t there. Our stay at this hotel has been the worst. This was a last minute trip to visit our son and family. We were faced with the Ryder Cup shortage of hotels and of course triple room rates. Our room had flying bugs either gnats or fleas in our room. I collected at least 10 or more whenever we were in the room which was only to sleep at night. They kept coming in. Beware of this Extended Stay Suites, Melville, NY. Don’t give reviews often on Google, but this place royally sucked, checked out a day early. Absolute garbage. 1. Floors were sticky, previous spills and not cleaned? Who knows? 2. Ventilation fan in bathroom was very loud and rattling 3. Staff did not clean rooms 4. Staff did not give new sheets, or make beds 5. Staff did not give new bathing towels - you must request towels and swap yours out 6. The shower/tub backed up several times No positives. Cheap, cheap cheap. Cheap towels, cheap paper products and zero amenities. The structure of the building must have used the cheapest construction materials available as we could hear people snoring from two different rooms. No shampoo, no hairdryer, etc. you get the picture

Cool for 1 night The premises were ok. Seems like the hotel is housing homeless people. Ample parking. Air conditioner was great. Short drive to many eateries and restaurants. Utensils and pots have to be requested. I definitely won’t go back.

Our room was quiet, hallways were quiet. This was a pet friendly property and we did not hear any dogs barking, we brought our own dog as well. Negatives were that we arrived at about 10 PM to check in and I called the phone for front desk check-in and the phone was not answered after I called two or three times. No one was behind the desk and it took 10 minutes for someone to arrive. Bad hotel stay! When we arrived they said my card I paid with on Hotels.com had been declined - they said I had to [ay again to stay - I did not have tie to check with you, you have no number to call and my son and I had to get into the room so, I had no choice - why would I have to pay twice for the room when I had a receipt showing I paid? It was the worst arrival ever and I may not use this service again as a result - I think something fraudulent was going on at that Extended Stay - you need to check into that ASAP!
