We slept through the night feeling safe & comfort! It was an incredible relief to come and stay at Extended Stay in Burbank California on my trip to send my only son off onto his first year in College just after surviving a summer of the worst fires ever in Northern California, having to pack my to-go bags for a possible evacuation, canceling another reservation in a super sketchy part of town that same night and not sleeping the night before in a super loud campground for way too much money. The staff was wonderfully nice but the room smelled musty, the facilities were clean to the naked eye but towels smelled, there was hair in the towels, and it took 10 mins for the water to warm up in the shower. Due to covid, they were not doing room service. Which is totally fine but I asked if I could leave our trash and towels outside of the door to minimize contact as I’ve done this at other hotels that have asked me to do it this way and they did not allow it. There were no panels curtains & with an ‘L’ shaped building, the other guests had a view into our room. We had to keep the black out curtains closed-our trip was dark & dreary. When we booked the room thru Expedia, we were unaware that the kitchenette had nothing, not even a coffee pot!! There was only one luggage cart which one guest kept for over half hour. At one time both elevators were down. The staff was wonderful and did every attempt to be accommodating!
