Filthy dirty ... Did not stay My room had poop on the sheets and crumbs on the floor. The 2nd room was too dirty the manager wouldn't show us. The 3rd room felt like floor was mopped with syrup.
OK for a 2 Star This hotel was ok, but there are limited service hotels which are better at a lower price. The lobby was nothing, more like a college dorm. The rooms were average size and mostly clean but worn and dated and the carpet was dirty. The price ($120 in a smaller market) was very overpriced for the hotel quality. We stayed here primarily because it was pet friendly and our reservations were last minute. If this does not apply to you, there are much better choices in Lynchburg for less. Lousy hotel These folks wouldn't know service if they saw it. Hotel was dirty, front desk unresponsive. We stayed in a Hyatt at the end of the week because this "joint" was so awful.
Vacationing Toilet was disgusting! Beddings are untidy but custodian was helpful.
Would never stay there again. Have to pay extra for a nonsmoking room yet the whole hallway smelled like an ashtray. Room had a disgusting stench of cooked food baked into the walls and carpet. Mold around the bathtub faucet and drain made me worry that the tub had not been cleaned in a while. In general, the room and bathroom just felt dirty. Not worth the price!!

old hotel needs updating People were friendly and Mike Brown was fantastic. The hotel is old and the cleaning could use a steamer etc. There was piled up diet in the corners of stairs,floors,rooms. Visible dirt in the vents for heat,the bathroom exhaust fan,around the shower etc. There was a sign that they take cleaning seriously but actions speak louder than words. It needs TLC because just being older doesn't mean it has to be dirty. People are nice so I have to think this is a lack of corporate investment.
Good basic hotel Staff was very nice. Very basic but a good location and price for Liberty events
